Dell Mini 10v Hackintosh

For Christmas I received a Dell Mini 10v.

1.67 GHz Atom Processor
1 GB RAM
160GB HDD
6 cell lithium battery

Obviously, I wasn't going to run Windows. In fact, I never even booted into XP. I went straight to installing Mac OS X.

Overall, it was relatively simple. I just followed this guide from Gizmodo. http://gizmodo.com/5389166/how-to-hackintosh-a-dell-mini-10v-into-the-ultimate-snow-leopard-netbook

After you have Snow Leopard installed you will probably want to update to 10.6.2. Here's what worked for me. (I have a Dell Mini 10v and it worked fine. This is the first time I've done this and I am definitely not an expert. Find specific instructions for your own computer otherwise you'll probably have to reinstall)

1) I downloaded the new Netbook Installer from here. http://code.google.com/p/netbook-installer/
2) Ran it once.
3) Installed 10.6.2 from Software Update.
4) Noticed sound didn't work at all.
5) Ran Netbook Installer again.
6) Restarted

Completely painless and at this point OS X runs wonderfully. I've watched videos using iTunes and compiled iPhone apps using Xcode.
